What do you think of MMORPGs?

I used to play both Ultima Online(Great Lakes) and Asheron's Call(darktide) extensively.

I trialed or briefly played: Anarchy Online, World of Warcraft (30 day trial), and Dark Age of Camelot.

I think they can be fantastic games, but I simply got tired of the leveling conveyor belt and insane timesink that most mmorpgs seem to be. UO is the exception to the rule for me, with it probably being one the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had. They're just not for me anymore. I haven't played any for a long time, nor do I intend to play them ever again.
