Ratchet, Daxter, Lumines 1+2, Wipeout Pure, LocoRoco, and perhaps a few other good games. As it stands, it's too mediocre to compete with the big boy, Nintendo DS. It's awesome for emulation, though. I've been playing Super Mario 64 on it, and it's just wicked! |
don't forget tekken and the GTA games. it's abit harsh to compare the psp to Lynx, Neo and gamegear, especially since it's sold twice as much as those three systems combined just two years into it's shelf life and has decent third party support. i wouldn't call it mediocre as it's hardly designed to fight the DS, the general trend has been towards a playstation 1.5 aimed at the video ipod market. think about it: it's got built in web browsing, .mp3 playback, video playback and a widescreen and Internet access with forthcoming video out support. These aren't features aimed at the traditionally young portable market. These are features aimed to teenagers who want something cheaper and more useful then a video ipod.
and yes, the emulation support kicks ass. homebrew alone could sell this system.
