| amirnetz said: This "we can get even more out of the PS3" in its different variants is getting very old. Notice that these statements are always coming from Sony affiliated developers. It seems like Sony is desparate to explain why the mighty PS3 is consistently producing games that are just on par with the "XBox 1.5" at best. I think we can add "we can get even more out of the PS3" together with "Wait until is released" to the Lexicon of Wishful Thinking. |
Because it's always Sony affiliated developers that make the most out the system. GoW2, Ratchet series, Gran Turismo (for the PS2, for example), etc. They always have the most appropriate tools to make the games look better, and also because they are first party, they can always "gauge" how much they are getting out of the console.
The only reason anytime one of these "potential" articles pops up, you guys come in and say something of this nature is because you really think that the 360 is really close to the PS3 and it's not. We always then see "well on paper, it's technically more powerful, but the developers won't ever get to use it". Well, they are beginning to "untap the potential"........I guess the untapping just came quicker than expected.
Killzone 2 is just the beginning. Imagine the engine it's using becoming way more refined and tweaked, like how UE3 is at like UE3.5 right now.
