^ I know, thats what I'm afraid of, SE has a habit of believing that DS owners = Wii owners or (Nintendo handheld owners = Nintendo console owners.)
Simplicity sais that yes these people would buyt a Wii or a DS to do the same thing, which is to play games, the reality is that they buy them for different reasons. If a person should have both a DS and a Wii then logic would dictate that given the option, a player at home would choose the Wii over the DS and when on the go or away from the Wii they would choose the DS, their is a fundamental reason for that, the only time this isn't accurate is when their is no viable software on the Wii versus the DS.
I know that FFCC (GC) also had a single player component that was half baked at best but was supported heavily by the multiplayer component. Hence why the definition of the game by those who play it know it was as multiplayer game because thats where you could get the most out of it.
Sega (all be it Sonic Team) released PSU in the shadow of PSO doing the same thing, and well... look at PSU. Except PSU/PSO didn't have to carry the burden of supporting a whole other platform with in it's current platform.
To summize, this probably won't end well.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
