I will summary saying :

"Exclusivities won't help THAT MUCH ..."

Indeed, u have to consider every IP separately, some may generate momentum, some may not.
If Sony is lucky, they will succeed to bring an IP that can generate some hardware sales (like GoW2). Same goes for MS.
