 I agree with you here.

It is almost like that thread yesterday about the developers of "Deadly Creatures" pretty much saying "Buy whatever we throw out there or we will make mini-games".

You haven't understood in the slightest. What he said is he hopes people buy the game or he will have to go back to making mini-games. ''I hope people vote with their dollars in February so we can make some more. Otherwise, it’s back to mini-games.''

He is saying that if people don't buy deadly creatures that he will have no choice and will have to go back to making mini games. He didn't say ''buy whatever we throw out'' he is saying ''I hope people buy this game we have worked very hard on and spent a lot of time on or we won't be able to do it again.''

Oh and irstupid very rarely is it a company marketing it as ''WAHH buy our game'' they get asked in an interview how much they need to sell or they get asked how the company is doing. In fact square don't say they need you to buy anything. They say how they previously have taken more risks with games that could sell less but now the market is different and they have to focus on games that are capable of selling more. He's not telling you to buy his games, he is saying that they are going to focus more on known high sellers because they can't afford to try more variety.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
