DS is breaking away the 2:1 against PSP a bit too fast?

A few months ago, DS would stay pretty close to 2:1 against PSP and grow slowly up and passed that 2:1 mark about a month(?) ago. Now, the gap seems to grow much faster, or is it just me growing older? (maybe both)
