What exactly ARE the gamemarkets of the world?

Taking off on the recent "Japan" thread: What are all the markets of the world that have significant buyers of videogame products? Even PC gaming products? This is something I'm curious in. I mean nation by nation. I know there's: Japan USA Canada UK France Spain Germany Italy Netherlands Australia New Zealand Brazil Mexico South Africa Greece Russia (I've heard of them being big on PCs) What are all the countries that deal in videogames and/or PC games & how big are their markets? Compare to total population & say how much of them are gamebuyers. Do it by continent if you have to. Very interested in learning about gameplayers across the world.
