Wii makes games which would otherwise be ho-hum seem exciting all due to the control style. I had no interest in Godfather until I heard someone on here talk about it & put up a YouTube clip of its Wii version in action. Totally turned me around. I don't like realistic sports games except maybe baseball ones & I don't like Madden or football games. Just not big into sports period & pro wrestling doesn't count (not a fan of that currently either). But with Wii suddenly I'm interested in seeing how Madden acts on that setup. That says a lot for Wii's potential to make what would be a port under ordinary circumstances, a must-see game. I'm hearing my non-game playing 40-year old cousin talk about looking into getting a Wii for his birthday & talking about Tiger Woods Wii commercials. Though he was a little awkward with the Wii Bowling yesterday on his first try (he's a good bowler) his interest has not wavered. This current cycle we see Wii as the afterthought port that turns out to be the hit version. Soon the games will be made with Wii in mind first with the others being the afterthought. Face it, folks. Wii has changed the way the game is played. No fad, baby. They said a revolution and dadgum you're SHO'NUFF seeing it's televised. Boy when I deal with situations with my car like I am currently I could USE a shakedown of some thug on Godfather: Blackhand to release a little stress! Therapeutic. John Lucas
