For extra irony I can play Fallout 2 between replies.

Fallout 2 needs to be played multi-monitor. That way you can surf the net while waiting for the bad guys to finish their moves. Seriously didn't finish that game when I got into a section where they kept coming for ages and if one got off a lucky machine gun shot you're toast. One hit kill... Thats a lot of waiting to be one hit killed.

 

This is a big part of why I took as many perks as I could to make myself as lethal with small arms as early as possible in the first game. I always scoped out whoever had machine guns and then I would shoot them in the face.
