I've never even heard of a balance board breaking or failing to function properly. And they probably get abused. Mine seems very accurate.
How hard is it for Nintendo to print more MK Wii discs? Or for stores to simply order more for that matter?
It's very easy to print more discs. In fact, Nintendo /could/ have pressed 20 million discs in a month or two just so they can press other things and not have to press any more Mario Kart.
Maybe stores aren't used to ordering enough copies to keep power sellers like Mario Kart in stock.
