yes it'd totally work. i think the whole point of motion controls is that that type of game would be better on the wii than a classic controller system. action rpgs are exactly the type of game that the motion controls (especially with motion+) would really make a huge difference in. and no i wouldn't say you have super wrists, anyone that says they'd get tired or have hurt wrists from playing an action rpg or any game like that has clearly just a hater. its not like you have to wave a 5 lbs weight around. the wiimote is very light. anyone who's played zelda tp knows that hours of wiimote sword swinging action doesn't do anything bad to your wrist/arm and isn't even the slight bit tiring.
so yes, action rpgs are one of the genres that the motion controls will make the biggest positive difference in over regular controllers.
