@ mistershine, that is pretty much the only thing confirmed about the game (though having the Rachni helping you is pretty unlikely

They were something pissed and attacked me after I whacked the queen. Oh, and Wrex was egging me on to do it ... so I do believe they will be a pivotal part in ME2. With the other thing, Munkeh, yeah, I tried it several ways and just realized some characters will die no matter what. Makes you think, though.

I had accidentaly found out about the Wrex thing, but I did find it difficult to decide the latter one, I can't quite remember precisely what happened with the Rachni, but I thought by killing the queen you wiped them out?

The Rachini wiped out Wrex's race - genocide. Wrex was pissed about it - who wouldn't?

No, Wrex's race was found to be the ones that were capable of defeating the Rachini and they did just that. They can quickly reproduce and are very tough to kill.

What happened after the defeat of the Rachini was that the Krogan aggressively expanded their population and rebelled. Thus, the Turians developed the Genophage which makes only 1 in 1000 Krogan births successful.

Talking about Wrex, I actually charmed him into staying in the party. It was kind of cool because I didn't want to kill him.

Playing it over again is fun, but be ready to go through a headache by dealing with the inventory. Everybody will be wearing the default equipment again and you'd have to wade through all your stuff just to get everything back to normal. With the crappy inventory system.... ugh.

I stand corrected.

Wrex was blasted the first time around - but I did charm him to stay. That was awesome. This game, worts and all, really amazes me.

I just hope Shephard and Ashley are still kicking it in ME2. And I hope she's down and won't have to try so hard next time.
