They were something pissed and attacked me after I whacked the queen. Oh, and Wrex was egging me on to do it ... so I do believe they will be a pivotal part in ME2. I had accidentaly found out about the Wrex thing, but I did find it difficult to decide the latter one, I can't quite remember precisely what happened with the Rachni, but I thought by killing the queen you wiped them out?

The Rachini wiped out Wrex's race - genocide. Wrex was pissed about it - who wouldn't?

A lot of changes happen if you kill her - or set her free. I remember going to a new planet and talking to the soldiers when we got plummeled by several Rachini. I counted at least 20-25. The next time I did a playthrough, I didn't kill her and never saw the planet again.

You definitely have to be weary of your actions.

I actually think you need about 4 playthroughs to get the full experience. And not just as one player - but an engineer, commando and the like.
