PS3 needs a price drop end of story. Sony got its ass kicked this Holiday no matter what Sony Needs to realize that 3rd parties will not PUSH the PS3 if it doesn't start outselling the 360 very soon. I do believe that if the Price is "right" people wil flock to the Playstation again. Exclusives will come back but it all comes down to taking that initial loss to sell more games and blu-rays. A PS3 at 299 should dominate can't see the argument that a PS3 with an 80gb harddrive isn't worth it or a much better value than the 360 or Wii. They should go to 249.99 and eat the loss 249.99 is clearly willing to be spent.
Maybe if thats too much loss for Sony to take Just make it a one month promo and see how it goes. Maybe constant 249.99 but must be acompanied with the purchase of any 2 games at 59.99....who doesn't buy 2 games with a system anyway. They need to create BUZZ and Marginal Graphic avantages aren't going to get people excited. by the way I paid 600 for my PS3 and I still want the price to go down because Everyone who enjoys games should get a chance to enjoy some of the really great games that Sony has made for the PS3 Little Big Planet is One of the greatest games I have played in alooooong time. Too bad it is being held back because most PS3 owners think it looks to cutesy.
