Looks like the bet would have been more interesting if it was whether MKW would outsell GT5 by 4 million. 

It will. More interesting would be "Will Mario Kart Wii sell 3 times as much as GT5?

 

  I said I just threw it out there. I could less about the prediction, I was just annoyed he got on the OP for making the topic "the 3rd time in 3 months" which if it is only once a month, I mean is that even worth pointing out?

Well, that's a fair amount. 3 threads on the exactly same topic. When there's also a dozen of other threads about MKWii, it stacks up a lot.
