The reason Square Enix put FFXIII on the 360 is because they want to increase penetration into the western markets. They said it was their strategy a long time ago. They didn't just do it to make money off their hard work from making hte game, though the increased sales are a plus. They did it because the 360 has such a large userbase in America and the UK and they want to increase their presence there to increase long term sales and profits.
