YOY, sales are 28% down for the PS3 in the first week of 2009... Granted this is only one week, but I don't see a reason to expect them to be up, much less "well up" as you said. Am I misinterpreting something here?

In the first half of 2008, the PS3 was riding on its late-2007 huge price cut, GT5P and MGS4. It doesn't look to have anything similar in the beginning of 2009. The end of 2009 is another story, depending on GT5 and possible price cuts.

 

 

I meant 2008 yearly figures not week one 2009 figures. I'm stuck in New Years Eve mode I guess...

If you expect KZ2 to be a big system seller... By the way, MGS4 only boosted hardware sales for two or three weeks. I don't expect KZ2 to have the same or better impact.
