I am asking because it's not easy to find this data online, especially because the € didn't exist when the last gen started.
I recall the PS2 launched in Portugal for 500 - 550 € (100,000-110,000 escudos, the previous currency). I found some online forums saying the Xbox launched here for the same price but I can't confirm that.
I don't know about other consoles though. Do you have any sources or memories about this?
