Potentially good news - according to Amazon.com's product page, where you can preorder the game:
"attach a Nunchuk controller for additional precision"
It seems to me that this added precision must mean controlling your character's movement, as there really isn't any possible application of the nunchuk in swinging. The fact that the current Japanese TV spots only show the Wii remote still seems perfectly reasonable given the usual emphasis on simplicity in their advertisements.
