| MikeB said: Interesting Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux (CVG): "Next year, well, it's all looking a bit dry," he said. "All the triple A titles came out this Christmas and while there is stuff in 2010 we can look forward to, off the top of my head I cannot think of anything next year that really excites me. " With this is coming from Peter I think 360 fans have something to worry about. He should know as the head of a Microsoft 1st party developer. I agree with him, but thought Microsoft must have at least something lined up for this year we do not know about. It's looks to become a difficult year for 360 fans, with PS3 amazing looking and known about PS3 exclusive games like Killzone 2, God of War 3, Infamous, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, etc. Potentially interesting exclusive like Demon's Soul, White Knight Chronicles, MAG, Eyepet, Quantum Theory, Trico, Twisted Metal, etc. Potential exclusive sequel mega hits releases like Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy XIII (Japan). I wonder if Sony has something special planned, considering all this fire power. I anticipate a PS3Three for 2009! |
Peter Molyneux has 2 more games lined up coming soon to a 360 near you.
Add to that the following games and i don't think that 360 owners have anything to be worried about, the bottom line is that sony fanboys lay praise on every damn exclusive ps3 game no matter how good or bad it is.
Games to look forward to in 09 for the 360
APB (All Points Bulliten)
Huxley
Forza motorsport 3
The protector (FPS/Stealth/Puzzle game all in one)
Velvet assassin
Mass effect 2
The precursors
Prey 2
Halo ODST
RACE pro
Alan wake
Dead island
Splinter cell: conviction
Halo wars
White gold: war in paradise
Ninja blade
You see how easy it is to mention lots of games?
Just cos sony has lots of games it doesn't mean they will live up to the hype.
I also look forward to many more once exclusive games becoming joint pc/360 exclusives like some of the above, afterall , a developer was quoted as saying that porting from pc to 360 is as easy as "pressing a button"
Plus you know that microsoft will have plenty more games up their sleeve but unlike sony they don't reveal 99% of their games line up TWO TO THREE YEARS before release.
