Why not? Why cant it? Sure it has a low install base. But it will change with releasing the best FF game. Your in denial, lucky to see you another one of the N fanboys.


Grammatical mistakes aside, there is two places you went wrong.

1. Thinking a remake of FF7 will sell better than the original. Even if the Triple had a much larger install base, this would never happen.

2. Claiming Ff7 is the best in the series

FF7 is the best selling in the series, and has the best story in the series. That is all and it can outsell the original. Amazing graphics will bring in casual gamers that never played it. Amazing story can bring those story drivin gamers, and seeing its FF7 will bring at the least half of the ff7 fans to the game.

 But anyway, like I stated before FF7 is the trump card to making FF XIII extreemly succesful.


 FF7 had the best story?  So i'm guessing you've never played any of the Final Fantasy's that game before it.  I dropped the Final Fantasy series at 7 because to me it was the worst story in the Final Fantasy series.

 and yes i'm counting Final Fantasy 1.  The gameplay wasn't bad, the graphics were the worst in the Final Fantasy series... and yes... i'm counting 1 again. 

I'm also counting Final Fantasy Mystic Quest in this... which while horrible in some ways.  I've found it's the perfect "Starter RPG" to get people who haven't plaed RPGS into the Genre.  The gameplay was ok.  But i perferred the Esper system and Job systems to Materia.
