 The original was one of the best FPS's of it's time. And a tech masterpiece. It's destructive environments were the best available.

 

Yeah it had SOME destructible environments, but it wasn't all and only some parts were. The game REEKED of mediocrity, it wasn't even CLOSE to being the best of it's time. It tried to, and fell short about half-way through. Very forgettanle and unimpressive game.

Edit: Also it wassn't a tech masterpiece at all, the actual graphics were not as good as the graphical engines at the time, the only wow was the few walls you could bring down.
