| Soriku said: Well, here's what I think: The PS3 is more of the core FF fan fanbase so the FF XIII games are on it. Same with the PSP with Agito, Crisis Core, etc. The PSP is also more single player based so it got BBS. The DS is more of the classic and new IP type fanbase. It got classic FF remakes like 3 and 4 and also new IPs like TWEWY, Sigma Harmonics, etc. It's also more multiplayer based hence 358/2 Days being on it. And FFCC. The 360 is unknown to them so they just made new IPs instead of putting a big main series title on it as an exclusive. FF XIII is only on the 360 for mor money/fanbase. SO4 is on the 360 but that's not a big series and the only reason it's not on the PS3 is because they didn't have PS3 toolkits and instead had the 360s. SO4 isn't on the Wii because it started a long time ago where the Wii was thought to be doomed. No moneyhats whatsoever, just pure demographic and testing. Now, for the Wii it's getting DQ X because of its big Japanese fanbase. It's also getting some series like FFCC and Chocobo. Chocobo is more of the casualish/light hearted type game from SE. FFCC...well, it's a Nintendo only series, that means the Wii should get some as well. Anyway, I believe the Wii fanbase is more inline with the Disney/light-heartedness/KH crowd so KH3 seems like a no brainer. |
So SO4 started development before FF13?
