Its a very aggressive action, but it wouldn't put it passed them and say they won't do it. If they move early this year it would signal their intentions to enter into a price war with Sony, one which Sony can ill afford. A $25, $50, $50 price cut would mean that any price-cut Sony would do would have already been matched before it happens. They could declare as much officially and say that any price cut made by Sony would be matched $$ for $$ by Microsoft. |
For some odd reason most people Sony fanboys don't assume that MS can also do price cuts let alone do one first.
