Ignore the sales parallel as that isn't what he's trying to draw guys. Look at the games, the likelihood that it won't end up on top, and the idea that it's still a great system that will be loved by those who bought it regardless of where it ends up in the charts.

interesting idea, I think many would disagree on the quality of the Dreamcast to the PS3, but I think that if the PS3 keeps going with some more great exclusives it could reach that level of fandom.
