Lol.... I hop you realise the difference between 1080p and 2160p is unnoticable unless you have a stupidly huge 80+ inch Television.

The same can be argued with PC screens and the difference between 720p and 1080p. Its very noticeable on a 24'' monitor.

Plus, 65'' TVs are now affordable. Sharp has one on amazon.com right now for under $3,000. At that size 2160p would be noticeable.

 

Sure, but most PC screens are watched from less than 3 feet away, TV's are watched usually much farther. If you watch 48 inch TV from 6 feet distance, you'll see as many details as from 24 inch PC screen from 3 feet distance. From 12 feet distance you would already need 96 inch TV to see same details as in this 24 inch PC screen.
