Interesting the amount of people who disliked Double Dash.
I liked it much better.
The thing is, to me its essentially the same basic gameplay at the core, so If you don't like DD then chances are you won't like Wii.
It does depend though on what specifically you didn't like about DD.
If you didn't like the co-op, thats no longer an issue with Wii. (me I liked it)
If you didn't like the tracks (bieng more over-the-top rather than traditional) than you really won't like Wii. (I prefferred traditional but liked DD better than Wii)
If you didn't like the flame-boost thing thats in Wii as well, and it felt tougher to execute to me (especially with the Wii-wheel).
If you won't use the wheel, then your going for a very similar exp. with the GC controller so to me, why bother?
The bikes aren't enough to justify the full price, they are a nice touch though.
If you didn't like the catch-up "cheating" in DD, STAY THE HELL away from Wii, my stars son!
