Its an obvious incremental upgrade, it will ensure that Wii motion+ becomes adopted by developers and there are some useful and nice things they can do like pre-install Wii Sports onto the system so its available all the time rather than packaging it in a DVD case with the console. What else do they really need to add/change in the system?
