Why does some people fear/hate the Wii?

The Wii was my first current gen console. I'm really terrfied that within a few years 75% of the games that come out will be utter tripe. Why would game devs take risks on expensive HD games when they can crap out a flash game port? This is a serious matter that we are dealing with, and you people refuse to acknowledge it. The more influance the Wii has over the industry the more serious this problem becomes.

But that is my point! The movie industry makes movies for you and other different for your mother! And there's plenty of them!

I don´t mind watching again good movies the same way I won't mind replaying Zelda TP one of this days!

In my case I will like the industry trying to satisfy me with one damm good and different game a year, not 12 generic shooters that I will just play once and never grab again...
