Most PS3/360 games don't even run at at 720p without upscaling! Resolution is really over-rated. Frame-rate is much more important, and most Wii games have better frame-rate than 360/PS3 games.
Native 720p at 60 fps would be great for the next-gen. My TV doesn't go higher than 720p anyway.
