Its not developers, its Sony. I hate quincunx AA and heres why: 360 vs PS3

Personally I prefer a bit softer look. That's what AA does always anyway. Of course MSAA doesn't make the textures blurry but I don't think Quincunx blurs them too much, either. In general I've been pretty happy with the AA and overall graphical quality of PS3 games.
