HD: LCD or PLASMA - which is better for gaming? what do you use!

I was thinking of getting this 32" TV.

But I've been hearing a lot of talk about how 1080p isn't important on anything over a 40".

Still, the TV's with a lower resolutuion then that offer only 3.1 mega pixels vs 6.2 mega pixels. Which is quite a difference.
