SE have always said that a FFVII update would not come on any console that could run the *existing* FFVII - and the PS3 can run the PS1 version of FFVII. Its almost certain to be released on PSN at some point. Considering that the Wii hasn't had a *real* FF title on it yet (i.e. not a FF:CC), I wouldn't be surprised at all if VI came to the DS - and VII came to the Wii (or maybe Wii & DS). Or it could come to the PSP... but then they could just release the original on the PSP if they liked. |
So you think they'll potentially skip V (or even VI!) or announce several remakes at once? It seems to go against their current MO.
