No, and no. I have only played the multiplayer maps with friends. I would agree with the point that I think you are trying to point out though. If I had played through the campaigns I would be better at the game, and would probably be better at blowing the crap out of my friends

Still I can remember the first time I played, or even watched for that matter UT and I was drawn right in. It was not the same with Halo.
