are the GC remakes of RE2 and RE3 any good?

I always hear talk about RE0 and the RE1 remake for GC and how good they are (and I agree, I own them,) but never hear anything about RE2 and 3.

 

those are the only 2 RE games I haven't played and I want to know if it's worth it before hand
