| Snake said: DS might outsell it, but GBA won't. Didin't you hear. Nintendo is already making succesor for the Wii. i lost the link so i can't show you the source. but just google: ''Wii succesor'' and you'll probably find out. Nintendo is not like Sony. Sony wants to take advantage of the console to the maximum, while Nintendo is always making new consoles. i don't know why. Nintendo would probably beat Sony if they had loneger lifespan consoles.

Yes i read but GB/GBA was closed down long ago so why compare an old console with a still living one? GB/GBA should be compared with PS1 or older cause it was created way long back, not around PS2 time. So ofcourse GB/GBA won't outsell it, it's dead and old and the successor has aldready lived for a couple of years.
Sony has only created 1 console that has gone dead so saying that that is what Sony do is wrong. Yes PS2 will likly have 10 year but PSP might not see 10 year support aqnd with the sales of PS3 it is questionable if it will.
Life plan is made from how successfull the machine is, as i said. Successfull console has had longe lifetime then the competition, allways.
Nintendo's GB/GBA had over 10 year support so why not with DS and Wii?
The shortes Nintendo machine is Gamecube, but as i said it is due to not being a success.
- And YES they are maybe making a new console right now. So is Sony cause rumours are allready out in that camp too (Using CELL again in PS4). But a new consoe will allways be released before the old is dead, same goes for PS2->PS3 and even shorter with PS3->PS4 (due to the limited success and pressure from the competition) and same goes for Wii -> Wii2?
So don't compare Wii with DreamCast. Don't compare PS2 with the long dead GB/GBA but with NDS instead (which will create higher sales in shorter time then PS2).
Predictions for 2009:
360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70
Future projection
Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)
NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)
