Also don't let people fool you into thinking you have to upgrade every year or two. If it's a well built PC you can get it for REALLY cheap, have it be more powerful than any console now, and not have to upgrade it for no less than 3 full years or more (at which point if you have to upgrade the games will far surpass the console once, considering your base was already better than their specs and you upgrade upon it). That upgrade could be a very cheap one as well, depending on how well built your current PC is.
