Request, ban users or lock threads that talk about the PS3 and it's price

Where were these requests back when every other thread was about the doom 360 in light of surging PS3 sales? I do agree that stupid trolling threads of every type should be banned though, it is annoying. But to simply discuss it, there is nothing wrong with that.
