Personally I think replacing a HDD is ridicilously easy, at least on the PC. It should be a lot easier on the PS3 as there shouldn't be that many cables. Anyway, flashing a new firmware is always a bit more of a hassle and harder to get into, though I suppose it's not that hard once you get the hang of it. I just believe the beginning's the hardest part.
Anyway, it's a good thing there's finally a way to get WLAN without buying one of those terribly overpriced M$ things. Now we should see whether they let this be or come up with something like they apparently did with non-M$ HDDs...
