FE is a pretty hardcore game, defintly play it on the easiest mode 1st time you play it. Very interesting story... oh ya, dont let any charaters die, they stayed dead, no pheonix downs in this game.
Zack and Wiki is a good game to play when you need a break from FE, FE should take no less than 40 hours to beat, and since it is your first... much longer : ).

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
