Does Metroid Prime 3 REALLY have that much worse graphics than HD games?

By the way, I have to mention framerate in this discussion. Most HD games run at 30 fps, with quite a lot of framerate drops. I noticed this both in Halo 3 and Gears of War, not to mention GTA4.

Metroid Prime 3 runs at 60 fps, with rare framerate drops. Nintendo could well have made MP3's graphics better, but they wisely chose framerate over the ability to create flashy screenshots.
