The article may have made the right conclusion, but got there via the wrong route. The hardware installbase is very much viable, but it's the software sales that are killing the device.
PSP was welcomed to market with a high praise, and now that people expect it's exit, it's going to be bashed just as much as it was praised years earlier.
Anyway, the article itself somehow tries to keep talking about tech, despite it stating itself, that the software is the problem. I've never understood the mentality (present in the article), that just because a truck has 500kW engine, it somehow is better tech than a Smart with 30kW engine.
