But yet they forget that the have not taken their OWN Arguement into consideration. They Use the Userbase argument In Japan for WKC outselling Square -Enix 360 Exclusive JRPGs. But that very argument has been tossed aside by the very same people when it comes to America Software sales. You can't have it one way and not the other because that is hypocrisy. Many inaccuracies .Usually both the exclusives and the multiplatform games sell better than 2 to 1. Gears2 did 1.56 million , resistance 2 did 375k. Fable2 did 1million, LBP did 350k. COD5 did 1,46 million on the 360 and 597k on the ps3 . I am using examples of big games recently released . Another difference is that the 360 had games with huge NPD months from almost from day 1 . GRAW/Dead Rising/Oblivion had 450-500k first NPD months when the 360 userbase was tiny. Gears 1 had a 1 million first NPD month and a 850k second NPD month when the 360 userbase was between 3.5 and 5 million and the 360 was at its first year . After over 2 years on the U.S market the best NPD month a ps3 exclusive has had is R2 first NPD month with 375k copies sold . I might add that Japan is a small and irrelevant market for BOTH the ps3 and the 360 and ps3 has had more defeats than victories coming from Japan edit: actually best NPD month for a ps3 exclusive is MGS4 with 770k first month .My point still stands though.
