@ youjiro: It's more Fable 2 and Mass Effect than anything else... But the Hero Candidate concept I borrowed from another MMO, and altered it slightly... I forget what that one was called, though... It involved something called a "bloodpledge" and Lord British got attached to it... Darn it, I still don't remember...
