I believe the Factor 5 Pilotwings rumor was prominent enough to get posted on Factor 5's Wiki page, and as something that had been confirmed to already be canceled:
Wii
- Unnamed Wii Title for Nintendo (TBA)-- Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht has confirmed in an interview that it is developing a non-Virtual Console game for the Wii.[1] Before the Wii was launched the company had announced a PilotWings sequel, but this project is no longer in the works.[1]
However, in one of the last Nintendo Minute columns IGN did before the holidays, whatshername (i totally forgot it) did say that surprises were in store for early 09
