OT: That's great, and I expected it to happen too.

I think most people including me agree on this.  Back in the SNES and PS1 eras, some of the JRPGs were among the most highly regarded games back then with games like the various FF games, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Earthbound, Vagrant Story, Suikoden II, Valkyrie Profile, and many others getting praised like hell from gamers.  This gen however, the only current gen JRPGs that are getting praise like that is Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, and Valkyria Chronicles(if that counts).
