So they are losing insane amounts on every ps3, but are making a huge portion back with their software. I can't see sony leave the console buisness because they also get money from companies to develope games and such.
Right now however they are not in the competetion because they cost way more then the other consoles, so what do you think they should do?
I personally believe they should make a gimped version of the ps3. be like 10 gigs, 1 usb port, no sd cards and all that. actualy buttons to turn things on not touch sensative (touch sensative costs way more to produce) then they could sell it at like 350, or 299 even!
