As for those, it's a matter of thinking you are part of a larger group than you actually are. Look at comic book fans. They started to get what they want at the expense of what made them so popular (then it went too far, with jerks turning the books into what they like, where even the base is getting pissed).

I don't think that's a fair analogy but whatever.  We'll will choose what we get with our purses/wallets.
