No. Uncharted just recently recieved an official bundle and PS3's biggest games have yet to come out with it's biggest exclusive, MGS4, selling nearly 4mill WW. This is why people are mentioning: Killzone 2, God of War III, FF Versus XIII, GT5 etc, etc because those are some of the biggest PS3 exclusives and none of them have released yet. You're post, I'm afraid, failed when you said Uncharted was "heavily" bundled. It reached 2mill WW without heavy bundling.

I did overlook Metal Gear Solid for some reason, which definitely hit 3m sales and was a big hit. That was a mistake on my part.

Uncharted was indeed bundled greatly in Europe: Sony did a bundle called the "starter pack" for PS3, where the console came with two or three games. In virtually every case, Uncharted was one of the games included, and the purchaser had their pick of the other one or two others from a small list of first-party titles (Motorstorm was a frequently inclusion as well). Initially, the starter pack was bundled with Ridge Racer and Heavenly Sword, as I linked above. Later, Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank were swapped in. (Try looking at this link too.) And then, of course, Uncharted was bundled AGAIN in America for holiday 2008.

If that's not the definition of heavy bundling, I don't know what is! Hey, believe what you want. I just don't see any real evidence that Uncharted 2 - a game that we know essentially nothing about and may or may not release in 2009 - will prove to be a big hit.

I don't buy this line that "all the big exclusive games have yet to come out, blah blah blah". That's fanboy hopeful speaking, not rational analysis. There are indeed major titles yet to release for PS3, most notably Gran Turismo, but there were also a lot of big titles in 2007 and 2008 that fell vastly short of expectations. Honestly, you can only say "just wait until ___ game comes out" for so long before it gets old.
